Boy Eats Drum Machine

oh man. I should have started this thing WEEKS ago. the main thing is I have a dozen-or-so songs in demo stage with (pretty much totally freaked and edited) drums and synth and turntable. I’ll be writing more lyrics for a while before I start doing vocals, sax, guitar, percussion, etc. I have some great places that I will be driving to in the next few months, so I’m taking my time—watching the scenery. it’s a beautiful thing and I feel lucky to be able to drive around the West like this.

honestly, I think the BEDM recording process is pretty boring to talk about—some dude in his basement playing with breaks records and an analog synthesizer…and all of the songs started as voice memos on my phone, recorded while I was driving [#geeeeeeeeeeeky]. sooooo…yeah—what is there to say about all of that?

I’ll be posting demos from time to time. maybe an instrumental? and I can start representing a couple of the songs live pretty soon.
