Boy Eats Drum Machine

oct 1 might be our last show for several weeks. we’ll be recording the next bedm full length ‘compact disc’ (as they say in greece). I’ve got 15 songs to demo (a rough draft. nothing fancy- just some guitar and melody). peter then listens to them and we talk beats. I’ve thought of having a recording diary, but what we do when recording is really kind of boring. so I’ll likely end up writing about food and covering a few highlights and special guests (not that there would ever be non-special guests). the songs have taken shape and only a few are without lyrics. they work together in a linear way to tell a story loosely based on the book 1984. there won’t be any big brother references. nothing obvious like that. however, it will be about living in a state consumed by war and the desire to control information. so yes- it’s definately fiction. heh. the scenery in the story ranges from the oregon coast to the midwest.

now this from arenarock.com:
